Magazine Road Tree Removal

Dear Residents,
 
Further to a recent site visit and an arboricultural inspection, please be aware that the following tree is scheduled for removal:-
 
Location: Shoebury Garrison Green Opposite 6 Magazine Road
 
Tree species: Horse Chestnut
 
Reason for removal: Dead
 
Where a tree is removed the location is recorded for replanting, ensuring that tree cover within the town is maintained and extended in line with Council policy.
 
The precise location for the replanting is subject to a number of constraints such as existing underground/overhead services, continued presence of tree roots/old stumps/soil pathogens and the maintenance of safe sight lines etc.
